The Opening Reception for the Annual NAEMI, the National Art Exhibition by the Mentally Ill, will feature the work of artists from Paraguay, Mexico, Cuba, Spain and the U.S. Founded in 1988, this international organization is dedicated to collecting, displaying and selling art made by people recovering from mental illness. Some of the artists will be in attendance, and all the work on view is available for sale. Proceeds benefit NAEMI’s goals of helping mentally ill artists from around the world. The exhibition will be on view through June 3. The reception is free and open to the public.
