Join to bid farewell to Flowerbox Projects‘ inaugural show “Homemade Lemonade” and to celebrate artist Nicole Salcedo’s birthday. Enjoy sound art by Kerry Ware, BBQ and good company. Homemade Lemonade features site-specific work by four emerging to mid-career artists who utilize materials that are traditionally associated with two-dimensional work, such as paint, ink, graphite and chalk. Working directly on and deliberately with the given walls of the space, these artists explore the possibilities and limitations of surface in contemporary art while offering fresh perspectives in drawing, painting and illustration. Featured artists: Christine Navin, Brandon Opalka, Nicole Salcedo, Kerry Ware.
