The 2015 OBIES featured a extraordinary food from South Florida’s top restaurants, entertainment and giving as celebration to those individuals who share Orange Bowl‘s values in giving back to the South Florida community. The delightful evening featured Fabio Viviani, Siena Tavern, Top Chef alum and OBIES celebrity chef.
Top South Florida restaurants and chefs provide tastings and optional pairings, in hope to be voted as winners in one of the categories. Broward County restaurant winner, and an overall ‘Flavor of South Florida’ winner for 2015 OBIES was 3030 Ocean. Miami-Dade County restaurant winner was Ms. Cheezious, best dessert winner was Misha’s Cupcakes, and ‘People’s Choice Award’ for 2015 OBIES went to American Social.
Over the years, the Orange Bowl Committee has given millions of dollars back to the South Florida Community through its economic impact, support of events, organizations and causes, as well as its support of intercollegiate athletics and higher education. This year, the 2015 OBIES benefited Make-A-Wish, Special Olympics and Orange Bowl Leadership Academy.
