Friday, July 17, 6pm – Funkshion Main Fashion Tent on Collins Ave between 21st & 22nd Street, Miami Beach
Australian brand Robb & Lulu treated guests to a runway show full of bright colors and fun prints that emanated youthful fun and exuberant energy. The collection, inspired by self-expression through color and getting back to artwork, was all about celebrating color and included a striking mix of one pieces, bikinis, cover-ups and accessories.
Styles included artistic prints expertly mixed with geometric prints and bold pops of color in gorgeous fabrics all imported from Italy. The Aussie love of an active lifestyle could be seen in many in many of the swimwear pieces combining form and function for the beach babe on-the-go. The show look was simple with soft beachy waves and fresh dewy faces to compliment the collection theme of letting go and heading “to the sun.”
For the finale, creative director Lulu Zagame chose a purple double halter string bikini paired with the brand’s Lilac Fire Combo cover-up in a custom designed print that floated effortlessly down the runway. The female models, including blogger & model Alden Steimle, pranced down the runway in the 2016 collection wearing MIA Shoes to complement the bold prints and bright colors.
Since its launch in 2011, Robb & Lulu has become a fan favorite in their native Australia. Husband-wife duo Robert & Lulu Zagame have identified and established a chic and effortless tone that reflects the ease of the Australian lifestyle, allowing them to build a business that is sophisticated, innovative and progressive. Reaching the five-year milestone, Robb & Lulu continues to evolve as a multi-faceted brand with global appeal. #RobbandLulu @RobbandLulu
