The Miami Spice Mash-Up series, presented by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), pays tribute to the fabulous food scene in Miami and the Beaches, with curated collaborations between some of the area’s most popular chefs. Celebrating the Miami Spice Restaurant Program (August-September), the next exciting installment of the Mash-up series continues on Thursday, July 23 with a dinner that will preview Miami Spice selections from some of the talented toques who battled it out this winter on the premiere season of Bravo’s Best New Restaurant. Chefs Paolo Dorigato and Cesar Zapata will team up to create an exclusive Miami Spice menu from what are sure to be two of the summer’s most popular Spice destinations. LDV Hospitality Director Dean Tsakanakis, the man many consider the deciding factor in Dolce’s televised triumph, will serve as the evening’s host.
This specially crafted three-course meal will feature two selections from each restaurant – Dolce Italian and The Federal – for each course, for $65 per person. Also included, a complimentary pour of Stella Artois and one complimentary glass each of Terrazas Reserva Chardonnay and Terrazas Reserva Malbec (price excluding tax, tip and additional beverage purchases). Seating is limited; reservations must be made in advance and can be done so by calling 786-975-2550 or online.
