The Craftsman Miami Pop-Up

The Craftsman Miami Grand OpeningThursday, September 28, 4pm-9pm – The Craftsman in The Mary Brickell Village, 900 South Miami Avenue, Suite 135, Miami Brickell

The restaurateurs behind ‘The Craftsman,’ in New York City known for craft cocktails, craft beers and craft sandwiches, Dave Casey and Phil Quilter have teamed up with South Florida’s Dustin Elmalem to open a Miami pop-up location. In addition to The Craftsman, Casey and Quilter own Top Tier Hospitality, which includes a multitude of hospitality venues in New York. Originally from New York himself, Dustin Elmalem also has 20 years of experience in the hospitality and beverage industry. Occupying the former Brother Jimmy’s BBQ location in Mary Brickell Village, The Craftsman will be in Miami for at least a year, offering cocktails at the inside or outside bars, lounging on plush and leather couches with craft whisky and bourbons, or dining in the indoor dining room or outdoor courtyard café.

Each cocktail at The Craftsman is prepared with premium and fresh ingredients and using house-made cold-pressed juices. Each evening The Craftsman offers a rotation of a featured craft beer for $5 as well as a featured cocktail, also for $5 from 4pm – 7pm. The food menu is featuring fresh craft sandwiches and wraps including Chicken Parm ($14) with grilled chicken breast, provolone cheese and tomato basil sauce on ciabatta bread, Crab Rolls ($17) fresh real crab salad with sweet peppers, green onions, celery on hoagie roll, or the less traditional option like ‘The Elvis,’ with house made almond butter, fig jelly and slices bananas on gluten-free bread. Gluten-free and vegan options are made available in The Craftsman’s menu section dubbed, ‘Avocado Lovers.’ You’ll find creative variations of Avocado Toast, including Tex-Mex Stuffed Avocado, corn and black bean stuffed avocado halves served with whole wheat tortilla chips; Bright N’light Avocado Toast, smashed avocado on gluten-free toast with alfalfa sprouts; and the Pulp Vegan Sandwich, avocado, spinach and tomato served on two pieces of toasted gluten-free bread.

The Craftsman is open 7 days a week until 4am with the kitchen serving food throughout the night. The Craftsman also features ongoing weekend series of live music, DJs and variety entertainment, and  offering bottle service, plus private areas and dining rooms. Whether for after-work bites & cocktails, intimate gatherings in the semi-private banquets, late night revelry or for dinner, The Craftsman promises a welcoming and relaxing experience, offering a bit of something for everyone.
