Neiman Marcus Coral Gables hosted a collection party for Fashionably Conscious, Miami’s beloved fashion fundraiser, during Neiman Marcus’ highly anticipated 2015 Fall Trend Event, featuring a fashion showcase of the latest styles for fall 2015. Shoppers enjoyed drinks and bites from Bulla Gastrobar as well as a Herradura Tequila and Gentleman Jack tasting in Men’s, on level three. Models graced the catwalk in the must-have trends of the season: Folklorica, White-Out, and Full-Bodied Red styles.
The first of a series of boutique parties, this event leads up to the Fashionably Conscious fundraiser, where Miami’s most respected philanthropists, and community leaders will donate gently worn designer clothing and handbags, creating the inventory for the fundraising three-day sale this September 25-27 in CocoWalk #FashCon2015. Guests and hosts at 2015 Fall Trend Event also donated clothing to the main Fashionably Conscious event, and that way making room in their closets for new items from Neiman Marcus presentation. Host committee includes: Christopher Adeleke, Maria Eugenia Baco, Ali Codina, Alexander Cohen, Laura Garcia, Marcia Martinez Laas, Rima Otrakji, Darlene Perez, and Aaron Resnick.
The sale proceeds will be donated to Coconut Grove Cares’ The Barnyard Community Center and offer essential funds to support the summer camp and after-school programs, providing a much needed safe haven for 250+ children in the West Grove community. As their primary yearly fundraiser, Fashionably Conscious offers essential unrestricted funds to enable the organization’s operations. The fundraising event attracts thousands of shoppers from all over South Florida each year.
