2016 Night of the Krampus

2016 Night of the KrampusFriday, December 23, 6:30pm – Esplanade Park, 400 SW 2nd St, Fort Lauderdale

The legend of the Krampus is around 600 years old! He comes out on the eve of Christmas Eve to take the naughty children away but if you’re good he’ll let you catch a glimpse of him! In this event anyone is free to participate but remember —first come first serve. We begin handing out masks, fur capes, and bells as we assemble at Esplanade park at 6:30 PM. Then we walk through Riverwalk and through the neighboring bars in Himmarshee Village to spread the legend and offer photo ops. We then end the walk in front of Bar Stache where everyone hands in their costumes and is welcome to participate in our Alpine toast inside Bar Stache! The Krampus is coming to Florida!
