The terrace at EDGE Steak & Bar transforms into an outdoor beer garden on Wednesday, October 21st from 6:30PM to 8:30PM for Oktoberfeast – a reception-style culinary event featuring local Miami breweries and bites from Executive Chef Aaron Brooks and the talented team at EDGE. The Miami Herald Food Editor, beer aficionado and author, Evan Benn joins in on the fun, engaging in a “beer chat” with attendees, discussing the quality and distinct flavors that differentiate each brew. The interactive evening includes a tasting tour of some of Miami’s best local craft beers such as those from, but not limited to, J Wakefield Brewing, B.R.E.W. FIU, M.I.A. Brewing Co. and others.
In addition to unlimited pours (or at least until the beers are tapped out) and Chef’s choice of complementing passed bites, enjoy a Lechon Station – Palmetto Creek Pork cooked in a Caja China – the signature dish that earned EDGE Brunch the recognition as one of the “Best Sunday Brunch Buffets in America,” by Travel + Leisure. Keeping true to the spirit of Oktoberfest, they’ll be a Sausage Station serving a selection of house made sausages including a Cheesy Kielbasa, traditional Bratwurst and Lamb Merguez, accompanied by sauerkraut and a Malted Barley Risotto. Tickets are $45 per person. @EDGEMiami
