Lizarran, an internationally recognized restaurant founded on Spain’s Mediterranean coast, makes its U.S. debut in South Florida with the brand’s first food truck. The iconic restaurant, which will host an exclusive launch event in Miami’s MiMO District tonight, is introduces its globally influenced cuisine, a fusion of Mediterranean and Spanish flavors reflective of Lizarran’s rich history. Lizarran combines the social, familial element of Spanish culture to create a unique and enjoyable dining experience. The launch of the food truck, which will visit various locations across South Florida including Brickell, Coral Gables, and Miami Beach, will soon be followed by the first restaurant location set to open in December.

Known for its innovative pintxos, cones and homemade recipes, Lizarran’s menu is a blend of Spanish Mediterranean and local flavors, cultivated from the richest ingredients including the finest olive oil, jamÃ³n IbÃ©rico, and fresh seafood. The food truck serves variations of Lizarran’s internationally-known pintxos, small snacks atop a sliced bread and pierced by a skewer or toothpick; cones, handheld snacks that can be eaten on the go, made up of croquettes, fries topped with manchego cheese and jamÃ³n IbÃ©rico, and churros with Nutella; and homemade recipes, the ultimate comfort food direct from the Spanish family dinner table.
The fusion of Lizarran’s rich Spanish history and strong Mediterranean influences provides customers an al fresco dining experience unlike any other. The food truck, decorated with potted plants, paneled walls and painted ceramic tiles in and around the seating area, evokes an authentic Mediterranean feel ensuring a distinctive casual dining experience. To support the U.S. expansion, Lizarran has teamed up with leading franchise consultant, American Franchise Group.
