Alexander Mijares Unveils Art Donated to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital

Alexander Mijares Unveils Art Donated to Nicklaus Children's HospitalMonday, November 23, 4pm – Nicklaus Children’s Midtown Center, 3915 Biscayne Blvd, Miami Midtown

Set to be a feel good start to the Holiday season, Alexander Mijares unveiled a small section of the 120+ feet of canvas to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Hospital Leadership, as well Foundation representatives, and Midtown Outpatient Staff. The artist whose work is part of the private collection of Justin Bieber, Tori Kelly and Pharrell has made it his life mission to share his colorful perspective with the world.

After walking the halls of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Mijares realized he needed to contribute his talent to the children in the hospital. He quickly began working on a way to brighten up the halls these children walk while they are receiving treatment. Mijares created a world filled with vibrant colors and hope for the kids.

As a self-taught artist, Mijares finds inspiration in the dynamic energy of both his city of Miami and his Cuban and Spanish roots, and creates pieces that are rich in culture. His vision and unique aesthetic has been recognized both nationally and internationally by some of the most discerning art collectors. Mijares has been recognized as Live Like Bella’s Artist Forever and Blue Mission’s Agent of Change, and has a long-standing partnership with Miami’s Overtown Youth Center. #creatingSmilesWIthArt #MijaresArt @mijares
