Enjoy a free Japanese festival January 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 pm. at the Ichimura Miami-Japan Gardens on Watson Island. The festival features Japanese entertainment, culture, food and music. Events include a demonstration of several disciplines of martial arts, an Ikebana demonstration (flower arrangement), Yoshiko Taiko Dojo Drummers, Cosplay get-together and costume contest. Activities include a childrenâ€™s corner with authentic Japanese games, origami, calligraphy, and more. Entrance to the Festival is free. Tickets for the Authentic Japanese Tea Ceremony are $10.
