Stand For Hope ConcertThursday, January 21, 6pm-9pm – Barry University, 11300 Northeast 2nd Avenue, Miami

Stand for Hope will have live music and performances by “Butterfly”, “Latin Roots”, “Fulano de Tal”, and “Erica Sommers”. The event benefits awareness towards human trafficking, going along with one of Barry University’s core missions – promoting social justice for all and advocating, creating awareness, and education on social justice, including domestic sex trafficking. Barry University’s location in Miami is ideal to host Stand for Hope as Miami has been cited for having one of the highest incidences of human trafficking in the country. Stand for Hope will be hosted by Maria Clara Rodriguez, director of Project GOLD, along with guest speakers: Nathan Earl, CEO of Ark of Freedom, Jorge Vieta, CEO of Life of Freedom Center, Bethany Brimer Gilot, Human Trafficking Director of the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, and Sandy Skelany, CEO of IGNITION FUND. #BarryUniversity @barryuniversity
