Big Brothers Big Sister of Miami’s The Wildest Dreams Gala 2016

The Wildest Dreams Gala 2016Saturday, January 30, 6:30pm – American Airlines Arena, 601 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami, along with presenting partners Carnival Foundation and Carnival Corporation, hosted its “Wildest Dreams” Gala at American Airlines Arena, chaired by Jennifer Kennedy, Joy Spillis Lundeen and Kim Wood. Several hundreds of Miami’s corporate and philanthropic elite joined community leaders, supporters and volunteers at the 13th annual fundraiser for an exciting evening of cocktails, a silent auction featuring “dream” vacations, followed by a gourmet dinner and dancing at one of Miami’s most spectacular venues.

Organizers hope to raise over $1 million at the gala this year to benefit BBBS Miami, a donor- and volunteer-supported organization that helps at-risk youths through adult mentorship relationships. Funds go towards matching volunteer mentors, known as “Bigs,” with children, or “Littles.”  Last year’s gala raised $1.7 million for mentorship programs and the organization’s new home – the Carnival Center for Excellence, where BBBS Miami will move this year.
