At press conference held on Friday, February 26 at the Setai Hotel on South Beach hosted by GRAMMY® Award-winning singer-songwriter Phil Collins and philanthropist and founder of Orianne Collins Jewelry, Orianne Collins-Mejjati, tohether with Nick Collins from “What You Know” and founder/president of Audio One David Frangioni announced GRAMMY® Award-nominated singer Diego Torres, Lou Gramm, Alvaro Soler and DJ Irie were announced as the special performances for the 2nd annual Little Dreams Foundation‘s “Dreaming on the Beach†gala. Five-time GRAMMY® Award-winning music legend Phil Collins, who founded the foundation, will be headlining the event and serve as both the host and celebrity emcee of the gala.
Collins created the foundation in Miami along with his wife, Collins-Mijjati, to help young talent that lack the necessary resources fulfill their dreams in art, music and sports.
“We are very honored to have our young talent to perform, especially the Little Dreamers,” said Collins-Mijjati. “Throughout the year, they receive special education in order to be able to perform and this is key to sing together because they have been working very hard to show their talent to the public.”
“This is tremendously exciting for us,” said Collins. “We have a wonderful lineup to perform, including Nicolas from ‘What You Know,’ and Lou Grand who is part of ‘Foreigner’ will be joining us. It will be a bumper, fun-filled evening.”
“Phil and Orianne could be living anywhere in the world but they chose Miami as their home. This speaks volumes – they choose to further enhance our community with their actions,” said DJ Irie.
The “Dreaming on the Beachâ€Â includes a night of stellar performances, live music, elegant ambiance and fundraising for a worthwhile cause of turning little dreams into big realities. #LDFGala2016 #LittleDreamsFoundation @LittleDreamsFNDN
