2016 VeritageMiami Spring Edition

2016 VeritageMiami Spring EditionFriday, March 11, 6:30pm – JW Marriott Marquis, 255 Biscayne Blvd Way, Miami

VeritageMiami, presented by City National Bank, will serve up five days of world-class culinary indulgence, beginning with a Spring Edition wine and food interactive experience. The rest of the culinary fun will be held during the fall’s Late Harvest held October 5 – 9, 2016. With proceeds benefiting United Way Center for Excellence in Early Education, the one-night Spring Edition Interactive Dinner at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami featured an exciting lineup of local chefs, from INDULGE magazine’s annual food edition. Since its inception, VeritageMiami has raised more than $12 million for the community.

The participating Chefs were Alex Chang of Vagabond Restaurant & Bar, Justin Flit of Proof Pizza & Pasta, Bradley Kilgore of Alter, Brian Nasajon of Beaker & Gray, Julia Ning of Phuc Yea and Nicole Votano of Dirt.  The chefs guided enthusiastic guests sporting cooking aprons and toques, as they prepare a three-course meal.  Guests had the help of talented Johnson & Wales University students who served as sous chefs.

The first course was created by Chefs Julia Ning and Nicole Votano, paired with Zonin 1821 wines. Second course was created by Chefs Justin Flit and Brian Nasajon, paired with San Pedro Wines.  Third course was created by Chefs Alex Chang and Bradley Kilgore, and was paired with San Pedro Wines. Desserts were provided by JW Marriott Marquis Miami, and digestif by Mandarine Napoleon. #VeritageMiami @VeritageMiami
