Miami's First Donut FestivalThursday, March 31, 7pm-10pm – The Wynwood Yard, 56 NW 29th St, Miami Wynwood Arts District

This was one festival you “donut” want to miss! The Wynwood Yard, which seems to be growing in popularity by the minute, hosted Miami’s first ever Donuts! Sensing the rising trend among foodies, donut aficionados and the general population (who doesn’t love a warm, fresh donut!), Vine PR gathered most of Miami’s finest connoisseurs for the festival. The event hosted award-winning and fan favorite Mojo Donuts, traditional yet irreplaceable Krispy Kreme, delicacies from Beaker & Gray, cute treats from Bunnie Cakes, guilt-free desserts from Parlour Vegan Bakery, gourmet donuts from Rhino Doughnuts and more. Refreshments were provided by Concrete Beach Brewery, Elephantea, Nuero Drinks, Voss, and Dunkin’ Donuts.

The festival was family-friendly, too, thanks to the on-site games and activities supplied by The Wynwood Yard. Attendees played backyard games such as table tennis, life-size Jenga, tetherball and rounds of corn hole.

Overall, the event was a good time filled with the sugary happiness that only a satisfying, gourmet donut can bring. It was amazing to see the Miami foodie community come together for this event, given it was the first time we recognize the evolution of the donut as we know it. Although the dough was the main attraction, we all know it’s not what the event is about that makes it celebratory, it’s how it makes the people feel!
