Pravin Mascarenhas and Shamsu Lalani, owners of Maska in Midtown, have launched fast-casual restaurant next door called Cho:Tu. Cho:Tu is open daily 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and focuses on traditional and affordable Indian street foods, which include snacks, appetizers and small plates. The 42-seat eatery shares the kitchen with Maska and offers indoor and outdoor seating, along with takeout.
Guests can enjoy a variety of authentic Indian street food such as PSev Puri, Bhel Puri, Ragda Pattice, Pani Puri, Samosa, Chotu Frankies, Pav Bhaji, Bhurji Pav, Kheema Pav, Vada Pav, Medu Pav, and few types of Dosa. The beverage list features the dessert-like Falooda, Sugarcane Juice, and Mango Lassi.
