5th Annual World Ocean’s DaySaturday, June 4, 10am-4pm - Loggerhead Marinelife Center, 14200 U.S. Hwy 1 Juno Beach

Dive into an ocean of conservation fun at our 5th Annual World Ocean’s Day event on Saturday, June 4th, 2016! Beginning at 10:00am, we will transform our campus to reveal some of the biggest detriments of plastics in our ocean for marine life all over the world. Experience life in the sea with our current sea turtle patients in our Turtle Yard and explore the dangers of marine debris in this campus-wide event! LMC’s very own Dr. Logger will have an interactive presentation at 12pm about the challenges facing marine life and what YOU can do to help reduce marine debris. Children will enjoy interactive crafts and activities to choose from throughout the day to learn about how a Healthy Ocean makes for a Healthy Planet! Every guest will receive a free reusable bag* as a part of the Better Bag campaign to help reduce the effects of plastic on our environment. For more information about our World Ocean’s Day event, please contact Hannah Campbell, Programs Coordinator, at hcampbell@marinelife.org or 561-627-8280 x105. *While supplies last. @loggerheadmarinelifecenter @loggerheadmc
