Martha Stewart, Emmy Award-winning television show host, entrepreneur, bestselling author and a trusted lifestyle expert and teacher, will address more than 1,000 women at The 16th Annual United Way Women’s Leadership Breakfast, on Jan. 19, 2017. Melissa Medina, a member of United Way of Miami-Dade’s Young Leaders and Women’s Leadership, will serve as chair of the exclusive breakfast, considered the crown jewel of events for local influential women executives and philanthropists. The breakfast is presented by UHealth, The Lennar Foundation Medical Center, and Leslie Miller Saiontz and family. 

The breakfast is only open to members of United Way Women’s Leadership. Chaired by Iliana Castillo-Frick, Women’s Leadership represents a dynamic group of close to 2,000 women who are committed to building a stronger Miami today and for future generations.  Representing diverse backgrounds and industries, United Way Women Leaders are like-minded in supporting education, advocating for better policies that affect families and giving of their time to our community. Each member makes an annual gift of $1,000 or more to support United Way’s work in the areas of education, financial stability and health, The United Way Endowment and the United Way Center for Excellence in Early Education.
