There’s no better feeling than lacing up a pair of fresh kicks knowing that you got them for a great price at Simon’s Sportswear. Since it’s opening in 1989, Simon’s continues to fulfill its goal by giving back to the community in any way they can. Whether it’s a back-to-school giveaway, a raffle for the flyest fits, or donations to community outreach groups, Simon’s goes to the extra mile for South Florida residents. The best way to give back and celebrate it’s 27th store opening in Sunrise is with a block party with South Florida’s very own Lajan Slim. The Broward based rapper will perform his hit record “Haitians†along with an exclusive listen of his upcoming mixtape “The Hood Olympian.†Simon’s newest Sunrise location will officially open to the public and accommodate giveaways, food trucks, raffles, and live performances all sponsored by UG Miami, Def Jam, 99 Jamz, 2kLifestyle, and Socially Loud from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Simon’s isn’t just a sportswear store; it’s the go-to spot for encouragement, motivation, and growth. Through the support of the community and personal relationships, Simons’ success rate grew rapidly which led to their first Nike relation through the Athletes Foot franchise on Collins Avenue in Miami, FL, shortly after it’s opening in 1989. Twenty years later, Simons Sportswear is now a landmark that has twenty-seven doors across South Florida with more to come. With over 300 employees to date, our community ties have grown and will continue to grow. Teaming up with organizations, board of education and other community driven events across South Florida will allow us to reach the masses. Our goal is simple to give back to the community that enabled us to be where we are today.
