Serving up good food and good times with its phenomenal community philosophy, Old School Hospitality celebrates the 30th anniversary of its Quarterdeck Restaurant. Conceived in 1986, it boasts 30 years of family, community and memories. Paul Flanigan, co owner of the Old School Hospitality Group says that “I can’t tell you how many people have told me that they met their spouse at the Quarterdeck or that we have sponsored their class reunions.” Their specialty homegrown neighborhood atmosphere keeps customers coming back for more. In the fast paced, vibrancy of South Florida, the Quarterdeck strikes the perfect balance between modernity and tradition, changing with the times while still keeping their values intact.
Offering great food and great dining service with a personal touch transformed the Old School Hospitality Group from a brand to a community staple. Surviving five hurricanes and three recessions, they have established roots across South Florida, serving up over 1 million racks of ribs and 1.5 million Dolphin Sandwiches, this legendary restaurant continues to trail-blaze. Paul Flanigan, Frank Zafaree, James Flanigan, Joe Zebrowski, and Sushi Mike, have all combined their passion for the restaurant business into the creation and expansion of this dynamic franchise. Specialty sushi, chicken wings, Dolphin sandwiches and their signature rack of ribs are a few of the many entrees customers enjoy while relaxing alongside the gorgeous beach views.
Named Dania Beach’s Best Waterfront Restaurant in Broward County, Old School Hospitality has expanded since the inception of the Fort Lauderdale Quarterdeck Restaurant, adding the Beach Bar at Newport Pier in Sunny Isles Beach, the Lobby Bar located in the Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort, and Good Spirits on the threshold of Victoria Park and Flagler Village in Fort Lauderdale – a new concept opening in early 2017. No matter how much times change, the old school philosophy of good food with good service never does.
