Mina’s Mediterraneo brings a variety of Middle Eastern treats to Miami’s Upper East Side. The menu built on authentic family recipes from Egyptian-born owner, Yasmine Kotb, reflects a wide range of Middle Eastern, Italian, Greek, French, Turkish and North African flavors in their newly opened garden patio.
They have a Middle Eastern brunch on Saturdays and Sundays has been dubbed “Best Brunch†by Miami New Times, brimming with exotic breakfasts like marscapone pancakes and mergez benedicts and shashuka along with classic French croque madame. Some of the favorites are the Besara, a ground fava bean dip served with house made pitas served straight from the oven and stuffed cabbage with rice and meat and onions in a tomato sauce and the main course was moussaka, a baked eggplant layered with potato and béchamel and beef ragout. So yummy!
The garden patio is beautiful during their Saturday’s in the Garden live music series featuring local talent, starting every Saturday at 8 PM. It is a great place to have a house dip and an eclectic brew or yummy cocktail while relaxing on the patio with friends. They have a weekday happy hours. You can dine in their loft-like space filled with travel posters and with lots of benches and daydreaming that you’re in a Greek taverna or a Moroccan café.
This Upper East Side restaurant is a fun place to spend an evening in the garden while eating and drinking with friends. The staff is helpful and attentive offering suggestions. #MinasMiami @MinasMiami
