Friends of the Orphans’ Second Annual All the World to One Child Gala will welcome a stellar line-up of Hispanic celebrities. In keeping with the lush natural surroundings at Fairchild, the evening’s theme is Plant a Seed of Hope – invest in a child’s future and give them the start to a better life. Friends of the Orphans improves the lives of orphaned and abandoned children through Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos, a network of orphanages, hospitals and programs in nine Latin American and Caribbean countries. At the gala, renown Mexican singer/comedienne Angelica Vale (pictured) and pop urban artist Peewee will serve as emcees. Angelica is well known for her work on the Mexican telenovela La Fea Mas Bella (The Prettiest Ugly Girl) alongside her real-life mother, legendary actress Angelica Maria, who is also the evening’s guest of honor. Pop artist/actor Peewee is known for starring in the Mexican telenovela Camaleones (Chameleons). Other guests include Nicaraguan Latin music artist Luis Enrique and Grammy-award-winning Latin music producer Sergio George. The gala evening will feature delectable hors d’oeuvres and food stations from A Joy Wallace Catering along with an open bar provided by Bacardi and Agostón wine. A silent auction and raffle will also be highlights of the evening.
