Art Gallery 21, in partnership with the City of Wilton Manors, Central Area Neighborhood Association of Wilton Manors, The Pride Center at Equality Park, Stonewall Museum & Archive and The Humanity Project, will host â€œWilton Manors Works,â€ an interactive event that aims to increase awareness of the LGBT work experience. â€œWilton Manors Worksâ€ celebrates the anticipated arrival of the traveling Smithsonian exhibit â€œThe Way We Worked,â€ which examines the strength and spirit of American workers. Art Gallery 21 was selected as a host site through a grant provided by The Florida Humanities Council and Museums on Main Street, a partnership with Smithsonian Institution and the National Endowment for the Humanities. The event will feature an exhibit of photos submitted by the public, followed by a story slam, hosted by Carbonell Award-winning playwright Michael McKeever.
