Kush Hospitality Group’s (KHG) La Cocina Cocktelería is bringing back the “Hialeah Olympics” with the second annual Pata Sucia Palooza! Located adjacent to Kush Hialeah (formerly Stephen’s Deli), La Cocina is the first cocktail bar in Hialeah and like all-things-KHG pays homage to its host city with a dazzling decor equal parts tribute and 305 fever dream.
Event attendees will rub elbows with Miami hospitality luminaries as they compete for the Golden Chancleta, quite possibly “the most Miami” prize of all time. Referee Lucy Lopez/@theLucyLopez, media personality and podcast host of Mamacita Rica, will make sure the games stay on the up & up with competitors including staff members from Unbranded Brewing, Union Beer Store, Finka Table & Tap, Lincoln’s Beard Brewing, and Better Days. Chef/restaurateur Michael Beltran will serve as emcee.
The Olympics have nothing on these games with an array of contests including a chancleta bobbing contest, relay race, and more! This fun-filled community event will be sponsored by Jim Beam and feature live entertainment, drink specials, and complimentary plates of caja china gator for guests who donate shoes for Free for Streets. @kushhospitality
