Rotary Club of Miami, one of South FloridaÂ’s oldest and most respected community service organizations, will celebrate its 100th anniversary with a gala event chaired by Susan and Robin Shelley and club president Oliver A. Ruiz and his wife, Lissette. The evening will commemorate the Rotary Club of Miami’s 100 years of service with an extravagant party overlooking views of Downtowm Miami that the club’s members helped create over the decades. During the cocktail reception and dinner guests will enjoy special entertainment and historical displays of early South Florida, spotlighting the many organizations Rotary Club of Miami founded and supported through the years. Emceeing the evening will be Eliott Rodriguez of CBS 4, who will introduce a who’s who of community leaders and VIPs to honor the 100 years of service. Music for dancing throughout the evening will be provided by the Chase Band. Individual tickets and sponsorship information are available online or by calling the Rotary office. Proceeds will benefit The Rotary Club of Miami, Florida Foundation, which funds the community service and international humanitarian service projects of the Rotary Club of Miami. Individual tickets are $150.
