Chef Nicola Bertolotti opens much-anticipated Nicola Brick Oven Kitchen in the Shops at Midtown Miami. Chef Nicola Bertolotti, a second-generation Maestro Pizzaiolo from Calabria, Italy, crafted his techniques in New York-style pizza as the Executive Chef at Fornino Pizza in Brooklyn and honed his skills in modern Italian cuisine at Chef Todd Englishâ€™s Hosteria de Campo. True to his Italian roots, his approach to traditional Italian classics features farm-fresh and made-in-house ingredients and honors his familyâ€™s culinary legacy with a true dedication to and passion for his craft.
The 50-seat restaurant, including an outdoor seating area and an intimate wine bar, will feature updated versions of Southern Italian classics in addition to fire-roasted meats, fish, vegetables and brick oven-fired pizza. Dedicated to the freshest locally-sourced ingredients and specialty items imported from Italy, the menu will have a rotating list of daily specials and seasonal offerings. Beside delicious brick oven pizzas, the menu offers items like House-Made Mozzarella, Mortadella-stuffed Meatballs, Chicken Dello Chef with mascarpone and pancetta, freshly-made Fettuccini tossed table-side in a wheel of aged Parmesan, and Chef Bertolottiâ€™s signature Nutella Tiramisu.
Nicola Brick Oven Kitchen is open seven days a week from 11:30 AM to 11:30 PM and will offer a mobile Brick Oven Kitchen for catering and special events in addition to take-out and delivery services. #NicolaBrickOvenKitchen
