Chef Nicola Bertolotti opens much-anticipated Nicola Brick Oven Kitchen in the Shops at Midtown Miami. Chef Nicola Bertolotti, a second-generation Maestro Pizzaiolo from Calabria, Italy, crafted his techniques in New York-style pizza as the Executive Chef at Fornino Pizza in Brooklyn and honed his skills in modern Italian cuisine at Chef Todd English’s Hosteria de Campo. True to his Italian roots, his approach to traditional Italian classics features farm-fresh and made-in-house ingredients and honors his family’s culinary legacy with a true dedication to and passion for his craft.

The 50-seat restaurant, including an outdoor seating area and an intimate wine bar, will feature updated versions of Southern Italian classics in addition to fire-roasted meats, fish, vegetables and brick oven-fired pizza. Dedicated to the freshest locally-sourced ingredients and specialty items imported from Italy, the menu will have a rotating list of daily specials and seasonal offerings. Beside delicious brick oven pizzas, the menu offers items like House-Made Mozzarella, Mortadella-stuffed Meatballs, Chicken Dello Chef with mascarpone and pancetta, freshly-made Fettuccini tossed table-side in a wheel of aged Parmesan, and Chef Bertolotti’s signature Nutella Tiramisu.

Nicola Brick Oven Kitchen is open seven days a week from 11:30 AM to 11:30 PM and will offer a mobile Brick Oven Kitchen for catering and special events in addition to take-out and delivery services.  #NicolaBrickOvenKitchen
