The Night hosted by the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami, honors Irma & Norman Braman and celebrates artist Robert Gober. Over the last 30 years, Irma and Norman Braman have been instrumental in transforming Miami into one of the worldÂ’s most vibrant cultural destinations. Their bold and visionary leadership has inspired countless others, making MiamiÂ’s newest museum a reality. The BramanÂ’s transformational gift to fund – in its entirety – the design and construction of ICA MiamiÂ’s permanent home has created a lasting investment in South FloridaÂ’s cultural future. Robert Gober lives and works in New York where his large room-sized installations are made by hand with painstaking attention to detail, Gober (born 1954) represented the U.S. at the 2001 Venice Biennale and has had one-person exhibitions in museums throughout the world.
