The Related Group and Rabina Properties celebrated the grand opening of Icon Las Olas, Fort Lauderdale’s newest and tallest tower that just began welcoming tenants this October. The high-end rental concept presents a new offering to the market, emulating exclusive condo living and privilege without commitments of ownership. The event presented an immersive experience through the building’s common spaces and fully outfitted model residences. Guests were among the first to tour the newly completed property followed by party featuring live music, flowing champagne and light bites from ETARU.
The luxury rental offering is a response to Fort Lauderdale’s booming urban landscape, increasingly strong rental prices and demand for an uber-luxury lifestyle without the commitment or responsibilities that ownership brings. Related designed the tower as they would another Icon condo property– to be an Icon from the inside out. Icon Las Olas features sleek, contemporary interiors envisioned by Steven G and lavish amenities including a rooftop pool, sky terrace, state-of-the-art fitness center with a Pilates and spinning studio and a wine tasting salon.
Residents can experience onsite signature dining at ETARU, a contemporary Japanese Robatayaki culinary concept from Rainer Becker, co-founder and creator of Zuma restaurants worldwide and ROKA London. Residents will also enjoy museum-quality art installations throughout the property from local artists Lynne Gelfman and Jon Millián, Brooklyn-based artist Jordan Kasey as well as Colombian collaborative Mangle.
The unit mix consists of expansive one-, two- and three-bedroom floor-plans priced from $2,000 to $8,000 per month, with floor-to-ceiling impact-resistant windows, Sub-Zero refrigerators, Bosch appliances and contemporary Italian cabinetry. The 272-residence building elevates the standards and expectations for rental projects in the city and has easily won the reputation of being the most luxurious address accessible to renters.
