Vibram, world leader in the development and manufacturing of high-performance rubber soles, celebrated their partnership with acclaimed designers, the Campana Brothers, at a Brazilian-inspired soiree in Miami Design District’s Jungle Plaza during Miami Art Week. Humberto Campana, co-founder and designer of the Campana Brothers, was present at kickoff event, along with Vibram CEO, Marco Bramani.
Vibram partnered with the Campana Brothers to bring a tropical and contemporary look to the Carrarmato sole, an iconic design and the first created by Vibram founder, Vitale Bramani, which will be available for purchase in early 2018. The Campana Brothers received the prestigious Designers of the Year award at Design Miami in 2008, and return to Miami this year with several significant collaborations with influential arts and brands during Miami Art Week.
The celebration included Brazilian-inspired drinks like caipriinha cocktails, passed hors d’oeurvres and desserts from Creative Edge Parties, and music from DJ Claudio. The Vibram Sole Factor Truck, a 38-foot mobile cobbler shop that can upgrade almost any kind of footwear with a new Vibram sole within hours, was parked at Jungle Plaza for guests to learn more about the tour, which makes stop across the United States year-round, and to have their shoes upgraded onsite.
