Josephine Baker is the first Afro-American international star, a French-American icon, a great humanist, and a true symbol of the fight for equality and the advancement of civil rights in the United States of America. On November 30th, 2021, she will be the first Black woman to enter the Panthéon in Paris, a mausoleum for Illustrious French and Humanist Figures. Miami communities and artists will celebrate her during a one-night only special event that will gather local leaders, artists, musicians, and dancers.
