Boca Raton Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, will celebrate its Artist in Residence Corks & Conversations dinner series with Chef Kerry Heffernan, Executive Chef at Grand Banks in NYC, runner up on â€œTop Chef Mastersâ€ Season 4 and guest judge on â€œTop Chef All-Starsâ€ and Cade Estate and PlumpJack Estate wineries.
Launched in December 2016, Boca Raton Resort & Clubâ€™s Artist in Residence program is designed to enhance and inspire guests through partnership with tastemakers in the areas of food and wine, music, fashion, athletics and traditional art. Within the resortâ€™s multi-faceted program, its interactive dinner series pairs noteworthy chefs with winemakers to host an intimate dinner party on-property for the resortâ€™s members and guests.
As current executive chef at Grand Banks, a seasonal Oyster Bar and galley on the deck of a historic cod fishing schooner moored at Pier 25 New York, Chef Heffernanâ€™s menu will be influenced by his ongoing philanthropy and dedication to seafood sustainability and conservation. Chef Heffernan will collaborate with Danielle Cryot, Winemaker of Cade Estate, and Sandra Roberts, Director of Sales at PlumpJack Group, to tastefully pair each wine with the fresh seafood catch off the Atlantic coastline to craft an elegant three-course meal.
As part of the program, Chef Heffernan will also participate in an intimate meet and greet cocktail and hors dâ€™oeuvre event on Wednesday, January 24. The menu will showcase a ceviche catch of the day from Chef Heffernan and Boca Raton Resort & Clubâ€™s menu collaboration. Tickets are $300 per person. @BocaResort
