Black History Month Celebration ConcertSaturday, February 3, 6pm-9pm - Miramar Cultural Center, 2400 Civic Center Place, Miramar 

The City of Miramar will host a Black History Month Celebration Concert for the community on Saturday, February 3rd at Miramar Cultural Center, with of some of the best African American musical artistry on display. The FREE and open to the public concert will be headlined by National Recording Artist Case (@case_music) and will include performances from Grammy Award Winner Regina Belle, and local favorite Deep Fried Funk! Black History Month activities continue with an exhibition entitled As a Matter of Black on display in the Miramar Cultural Center’s Ansin Art Gallery in partnership with Miami Urban Contemporary Exhibition Curated by Bart Mervil from February 1 – March 30, 2018. The As a Matter of Black Exhibition explores the figurative and literal definition of the word Black: as color, as identity, as universal matter. Miramar Cultural Center’s Ansin Family Art Gallery will OPEN to view the Exhibition at 4:30 p.m. on Concert Day. #BlackHistoryMonth @Case_Music @reginabelle @miramarcultural
