Watches & Wonders Miami organized in partnership with Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie and the Miami Design District, a three-day event featured an exciting program, with activities for all ages. The weekend kicked off with an Emilio Estefan produced performance in Paradise Plaza, followed by a gala in the Palm Court. Watches and Wonders featured the following participating brands: A. Lange & Söhne, Armin Strom, Audemars Piguet, Bulgari, Cartier, F.P. Journe, Hermès, Hublot, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Louis Vuitton, Panerai, Parmigiani Fleurier, Piaget, Ralph Lauren, Romain Jerome, Romain Gauthier, TAG Heuer, Vacheron Constantin, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Voutilainen.
Some of the brands hosted their own activation’s throughout the long weekend. Events vary from a watchmaking masterclass at Jaeger-LeCoultre to a talk from author and photographer Matt Hranek at Vacheron Constantin to a chronograph exhibition at A. Lange & Söhne. Additionally, TAG Heuer hosted “Museum in Motion,” a curated exhibition highlighting heritage pieces from the brand’s museum in La Chaux-de-Fonds. There were workshops lectures on pilot’s watches, Women in Watches, Investing in Watches for the 21st Century (by William Massena), Complications (by Pascal Ravessoud), and The Fascinating World of Auctions and Watch Collecting (by Paul Boutros). Most importantly, all the brands showcased their SIHH 2018 novelties and new watches for the year.
