The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has partnered with NFL Miami Dolphins Wide Receiver, Jarvis Landry, to host the inaugural Jarvis’ Jam. Jarvis served as the honorary chairman and celebrity host of the evening which took place in the Hyundai Lounge at the Hard Rock Stadium. As someone who was touched personally by CF, Jarvis is keenly aware of the importance of the Foundation’s fundraising efforts.
Guests joined Jarvis Landry and country duo LOCASH, made up of singer-songwriters Chris Lucas and Preston Brust, for great food, drinks, silent and live auction, and a special musical performance, as they mingle with past and present Dolphins players to raise money to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis. TV host Kavita Channe served as the Mistress of Ceremonies, and the live auctioneer was WSVN 7 Sports Director/Anchor, Steve Shapiro. Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s speaker, Peter Hodge welcomed special gust speaker, Andrea Goldman.
Proceeds from the event will help support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s mission to cure cystic fibrosis and provide all those battling the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment, and ensuring access to high-quality specialized care.
