Sergio’s Family Restaurants, the company behind the popular Sergio’s Cuban Cafe & Grill, has signed a development deal with Cuban Manna LLC to roll out 25 new fast-casual restaurants across South Florida. The new location opened in North Miami with a big celebration, featuring complimentary empanadas, bowls, Hatuey Beer, Café Bustelo, Lactaid, and live rumba y guaguancó by Los Herederos.
The new Sergio’s offers Cuban classics alongside some new additions, like nitro café con leche served on tap. Beside baked empanadas, croquetas, classic baked pastry, and made to order sandwiches, you can create your own bowl. Start your customized bowl by choosing a base (white rice, brown rice, cauliflower rice, or artisan green), pick your choice of protein: veggies only $6.99, mojo roasted pork $7.99, citrus grilled chicken $7.99, lean ground turkey $8.49, or braise shredded beef $9.49. You can add two side options: black beans, sweet plantains, boiled yuca, quinoa, plus salad toppings, and you can all sauce it up with chimi-churri, garlic mojito, cilantro cream, spicy habanero, or any salad dressings. Sergio’s Cuban is open every night, and regular business hours are 7am-10pm.
