Sunrise is ready to rock this Fourth of July. Cartoon-themed floats will wind their way west along Sunset Strip from NW 12th Street to City Park, where the celebration continues with free refreshments and a children’s fun zone. In addition to a kids’ fun zone and food and drinks galore, the town has quite the entertainment line-up slated for this year. Reggaers Skotch Bonnett Band and classic rockers Mr. Nice Guy will open things up, and then it’s Grand Funk Railroad bringing down the house before a 9:15 p.m. fireworks display. A parade will also take place on Sunset Strip at 9 a.m. that day. Concert starts at 4:30 p.m. and Grand Funk Railroad plays at 7:45 p.m. Free admission and parking.

Known as the best fireworks show in Broward County, the City of Margate Parks and Recreation Department and the Margate Community Redevelopment Agency (MCRA) are planning its Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks Extravaganza to be bigger and better than ever. The City’s 4th of July Extravaganza begins at 5:00 p.m. with food, bounce houses, and family-friendly activities at the northwest corner of Margate Boulevard and State Road 7. The concert begins at 6 p.m. and the fireworks display will begin at 9 p.m.

The City of Pompano Beach will be celebrating July 4th this year with a Fireworks Extravaganza at Pompano Beach at the beach, near the Fishing Pier. At 5:00 p.m., we will start the night off with live music, featuring the NostalJah, a reggae band, followed by the main act, the L-Tribe Band, an R&B band. At 9:00 p.m. direct your attention to the night sky as we set off an array of fireworks that is sure to impress. Fireworks will be launched from a floating barge in the ocean off of the end of the Pompano Beach Fishing Pier. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome; however personal fireworks, glass containers, alcohol, and pets are prohibited. In case of inclement weather, there will be a rain date for the fireworks show of Thursday, July 5th. Available parking is at Atlantic Boulevard and A1A. Street Parking will also be available as well as the new Pier Garage, located right across from the Pier.

Celebrate in the heart of downtown Miami, and take in one of South Florida’s largest fireworks displays. Expect music, food, a beer garden, kids’ activities, and, of course, plenty of fireworks. The park opens at noon, and fireworks begin at 9 p.m.  America’s Birthday Bash is presented by Bayfront Park Management Trust, a limited agency of the City of Miami, with support from the City of Miami, the Mayor and the Miami City Commission.
