Taste of Brickell Food and Wine Fest Pre-Party satisfied not only the taste buds and appetites of all who attended but their eyes and ears as well. The event featured a live DJ, wild animals, and a holiday inspired fashion show strutting the latest styles from Brickell’s best boutiques.
Guests filled the festive Mary Brickell village and noshed on small bites and desserts provided by Oceanaire Seafood Room, Taverna Opa, Fado Irish Pub, Toscana Divino, and Macy’s catering. Fado’s was the hit of the night serving traditional pub grub but Toscana Divino drew a large crowd with their individual miniature pizzas made on site. A food and wine fest wouldn’t be complete without the wine and spirits. Cavas Wine Bar provided fine wines and champagne and Blue Martini occupied two bars featuring both rum and vodka. While roaming the event listening to the sound of todays hottest songs, drink in hand, attendees eyed the tropical parrots, wild lions, and were able to (if they were brave) interact with two monkeys also on site.
A speaker representing Kristi House, to assist sexually abused and trafficked children, thanked guests for their contribution to an excellent cause. The festive night satisfied all five senses and concluded with a fashion show staged in the middle of the park. Guests left entertained and awaiting the actual Taste of Brickell Food and Wine Fest in March which will feature live music and over fifty restaurants!
