Join for an informal conversation with the author, director, producers, and cast members of the immersive play, “Amparo.” The work is a theatrical journey into the legacy of the Arechabala family, the creators of Havana Club rum, originally produced in Cárdenas, Cuba. Set in the late 1950s, the play led its audience through and around a historic mansion in downtown Miami and recreated the experience of the Arechabalas during the Cuban Revolution. The show debuted in New York in 2018 and in Miami during 2019. With Vanessa Garcia, Victoria Collado, George Cabrera, Paul Ramirez, and Bertha Leal. This event is free and open to the public.
