The Ghost Light Society hosted its 9th Annual Ghost Light Society Soirée – Secret Garden Soirée, to benefit arts-in-education programs at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Approximately 250 young professionals joined a fun night featuring an array of tantalizing food, premium open bar, dancing, and entertainment on the stage of the iconic Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale. This year’s event was co-chaired by Ashley Boxer of Memorial Healthcare System and Whitney Dutton of Dutton Real Estate Services and supported by Platinum Sponsors Memorial Healthcare System, Nelson Mullins Broad and Cassel and Publix.
The Ghost Light Society was founded in 2009 to engage and inspire a new generation of patrons to take an active role in promoting, celebrating and supporting the performing arts. Over the last nine years, the Ghost Light Society has established its annual Soirée as one of the most highly anticipated events of the season while also enabling the group to raise more than $800,000 for the Broward Center’s award-winning arts-in-education programs that serve more than 125,000 pre-K – 12 students each year.
