An Empowered You “Sneaker Ball”Sunday, December 2, 5pm-8:30pm – Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort, 16701 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach

The purpose of An Empowered You is to bring men and women together from all different walks of life for one use, to evolve and grow in life and business. Our goal is to make sure every one of our guests leaves our event thoroughly inspired, motivated & passionate about the things they have always dreamed of achieving.
This year we are switching it up a bit with our “Sneaker Ball” theme. Ladies get to wear their best gowns with their favorite pair of sneakers and gentleman will wear their favorite suits with their freshest pair of kicks. The evening is designed to bring together friends and colleagues, corporate leaders, mentoring providers, foundation executives, government officials and the general public, all who share a passion for mentoring and uplifting others.

Confirmed speakers so far are Super Bowl Champion Bryant McKinnie and Shelah Marie, who is the Founder of Curvy, Curly and Conscious. Creative queen Sarah Akiba who is the founder of AWOM Lab & Foundation + one more to be announced. Wanda Tima of L’Union Suite, John Owens of K&L Gates, LLP, and Media Personality Bertram Gillings will be moderating the Q&A sessions. Fashion showcases by top premium brand Puma and emerging designers plus live performances by Jazlynn Q, Dancers Galleryand more to be announced. Non-stop talent ranging from fashion, beauty, influence, arts, and music.

Kristi House will join us as we award two of their high school students with a makeover. The ballroom will captivate your attention from the beginning to the end. Hand selected vendors in the “An Empowered You” lounge inside Kitchen 305. Fashion showcases by top premium brand Puma and emerging designers plus Art showcases by Ava Mae and Camo Customz. Hors-d’oeuvres and an array of desserts to be served + raffles, contests, and giveaways through the night.

Join for great food, good vibes, fantastic talent and a moment of impact. After the event, make sure to stop by the after party at Kitchen 305 with $5 house beer & wine and = a special appetizer menu. There will also be live performances by MoMo and DJ PeeWee on the turntables. After Party starts at 8 p.m!
