UCO of South Florida hosted the Ultimate Chefs’ Dinner at the Grateful Palate next to Shooters Waterfront in Fort Lauderdale. The event was emceed by Miami Heat TV Host Jason Jackson. Three fine chefs from South Florida collaborated to present an elegant three course meal, each paired with a wine, courtesy of Republic National Distributing Company, following passed hors d’oeuvres during the champagne reception.
Chef Irie, the Executive Chef of Spice Inc., provided the 1st course of the night for the Ultimate Chefs’ Dinner. Chef Irie takes inspiration for his unique and delicious dishes from his hometown of Jamaica where he grew up on a sugar plantation. The 2nd course of the night will be prepared by Chef Brian Cornelius, the Executive Chef at The Grateful Palate. The 3rd and final course was provided by Cuban-American Chef Letty Alvarez. She is the chef, founder, and owner of LA Sweetz in Miami. Chef Letty has also appeared on not only Food Network’s Cupcake Wars, but on The Cooking Channel and TLC as well.
