Puerto Rico is doing something special at Art Basel this year, and we’d love you there. It’s been quite a year, but the island is back and stronger than ever before, and what better way to express this than through art. Two Puerto Rican artists, Don Rimx & Carlitos Skills , will bring to life Puerto Rican traditions via a beautiful 50-foot mural – two very different artistic styles will mesh into one, to showcase a fresh and interesting perspective of the Island. The unveiling will take place on December 8th at the RC Cola Plant at 3pm, and there will be music by Ramiro Malagon (who plays with Ricky Martin), and we will be serving piragüas, the Puerto Rican version of shaved ice, with rum infused flavors.
