As one of the newest companies to take residence in Miami Beach, Bang & Olufsen Lincoln Rd comes bearing gifts and goodwill. Already a world renowned, exclusive brand, Bang & Olufsen would like to establish themselves in the community of Miami Beach as a contributing factor to increase good will by launching a charity campaign in partnership with the City of Miami Beach and four local fire departments. The reception will take place on Thursday January 5, 7:00 pm at Bang & Olufsen Lincoln Road in conjunction with the City of Miami Beach, Vice-Mayor Michael Gongora and the Miami Beach Fire Departments.
Four of the firehouses in Miami Beach have chosen a perspective charity to represent. The firehouse with the most votes will be awarded with a BeoSound 8 complete with the BEO speakers to be donated to their charity on behalf of Bang & Olufsen. Bang & Olufsen’s digital agency, The Factory Interactive, will develop a Facebook application for voting, which will be available on participating Facebook pages such as Bang & Olufsen, City of Miami Beach, American Cancer Society, UMJM Burn Center, Pink Heals Foundation and United Way of Miami Dade County. The firehouses must rally as many votes as possible as well as create as community awareness and participation for their charity in the month of January. At the completion of voting, Bang & Olufsen will co-host a closing event with the City Of Miami Beach and Vice Mayor Michael Gongora to present the winning firehouses with prizes for their charity. All participating charities will be awarded a BeoSound iPod dock.
