Birch Road, Fort LauderdaleOrganized and curated by ArtServe, South Florida’s award-winning arts services organization, “Impressions: The New Aesthetic” is Fort Lauderdale’s preeminent exhibition of modern and contemporary art from artists across Florida. The mixed-media exhibition features original artwork in a variety of mediums, transforming the nearly 100-year-old Bonnet House into a celebration of art in all of its forms.

“Impressions” offers an immersive art experience for new and experienced collectors alike, featuring interactive sensory events, engaging art installations, video projections, live painting and music, performance art and more. Light bites and drinks are generously provided by A Alexander Event Catering.

All of the artwork in the “Impressions” exhibition is available for purchase with 50 percent of the proceeds benefitting the ongoing historic preservation of Bonnet House and its cultural programming, which reaches more than 70,000 visitors and 8,000 area youth annually.

During the reception, guests and participating artists are invited to cast votes for their favorite artworks and the artist with the highest number of votes will be recognized with the People’s Choice Award. General admission tickets for the opening reception are $60 and VIP tickets are $100. “Impressions: The New Aesthetic” runs from March 7 through April 28. The exhibition is available for viewing from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bonnet House.
