Sunday, January 22 Miami’s most exciting events for children the 4th Annual: It’s A Family Affair! Concert and Celebration at the New World Center! At 2:00 PM the New World Symphony will perform an exhilarating concert program that merges orchestra, lighting, design and film – with works by Glinka, Stravinsky and Mussorgsky. Selections from Mussorgsky’s legendary Pictures at an Exhibition will be performed with video animations, guaranteeing a multi-sensory experience that will delight all ages. Then at 3:00 PM, the New World Symphony Fellows will a host a 21st-century musical wonderland featuring hands-on activities such as an instrument petting zoo, rooftop drum circle and a musical time machine.
