The APVSA “Association pour la Promotion des Vins et Spiritueux en Amérique du Nord” is organizing their third tour of the year to gather the professionals of the wine industry to uncover the wines which will suit their markets. This year the APVSA is proudly celebrating 20 years of connecting passionate winemakers to high demanding buyers and traders for the sake of their consumers.
Year-round, the APVSA organizes over 40 wine tastings in North American cities during which, wine producers and buyers meet in order to develop long lasting business relationship. Importers, distributors, agents, restaurant owners, retailers and head sommeliers trust the APVSA who has been performing this activity since 1999 and bringing to them selected wines and spirits, with the aim to meet their expectations and needs. Yet if the North American importers stick to well known commercial brands, some of the buyers prefer to find the real rare pearl at an affordable price.
The Wine Tasting Tour started on October 8 in New York and will end on October 18 in Montréal. The participants interested in some of the wines also have the opportunity to meet with the winegrowers in private in order to negotiate an import, distribution or representation alternative.
