Burbowl takes the best from traditional burger restaurants to create the new way to eat burgers, and it’s expanding all over South Florida. Burbowl is a fast-casual concept focusing on uniting two foodie favorites, the burger and the bowl; and students, rejoice! After opening their Miami Beach location, they celebrated their fourth grand opening at FIU main campus. Burbowl FIU joins 3 others in Miami Beach, Downtown Miami and Doral. Thirty stores are scheduled to open from Miami-Dade all the way up to Orange county.
Founder Angel Benitez Jr., a superstar race car driving champion, is delivering winning dishes in a crisp environment for a good cause alongside franchisees and entrepreneurs Rafael Rosario and Rodolfo Rodriguez who own the Westchester restaurant. “We’re thrilled to continue our expansion in South Florida and beyond,” says Benitez, who also claims national racing championships driving in cars by Porsche and Lamborghini. Benitez opened his first restaurant in Downtown Miami in 2015 at the age of 25, and created all the Burbowl recipes from his enthusiasm and passion for great tasting food.
The Burbowl menu features something for everyone—from made-to-order, juicy burgers to crisp, plant-based bowls, they feature signature combinations and customizable dishes for every palate and diet. They focus on high-quality ingredients, like their 100% Black Angus beef; and fresh, never-frozen, meats and produce, all antibiotic and hormone-free. Stand outs on their menu include The Juicy Smashed Burger ($5.95) with 4oz of Black Angus meat on a potato bun topped with melted cheese, fresh tomato, lettuce, onions and pickles and both cilantro and garlic chipotle sauces; and the fan-favorite, the Miami Bowl ($7.65) with 4 oz of chopped Black Angus meat on cilantro green rice, creamy mozzarella, potato sticks, fresh tomato, grilled mushrooms and onions, sweet corn and both cilantro and garlic chipotle sauces. They offer the opportunity to Cheat Clean ($8.95) with a bowl of quinoa, grilled chicken, greens and grilled and fresh toppings and sauces. On their Healthy Menu, the Guilt-Free Burger ($5.75) features a lettuce wrap and the Vegan Bowl ($9.95) features a quinoa base and sliced veggie patty with fresh or grilled toppings galore.
