April 27 & 28 – Quiet Waters Park, 401 S. Powerline Rd., Deerfield Beach
On April 27& 28, 2012, the 2nd Annual Deerfield Beach Wine & Food Festival hosted “A Blue Wave Affair†for all local community and South Florida residents in the heart of Deerfield Beach. With Quiet Waters Park as the backdrop for this intimate festival, guests experienced an up-close and personal experience of tasting dishes from Florida’s top 50 chefs as well learning from the masters themselves during their 8 cooking demonstrations. This year’s festival featured four very special events over 2 days. Beginning Friday night, VIP Guests experienced an intimate 4 course wine and food pairing dinner with their personal chef and wine sommelier, while Grand Tasting Launch Party took place at the main Stage. On Saturday morning festival goers enjoyed the Jazz Blues Brunch, prepared by local chefs. Then Saturday night festival goers strolled through the Grand Tasting enjoying the gourmet stations, freshly-prepared fairs and sample sommelier-selected wines as they enjoy the sounds of live music in the background. Through the interactive and distinct wine and food pairings, soothing live music and educational demonstrations by wine ambassadors and chefs, The Deerfield Beach Wine & Food Festival created a multi-sensory experience that will bring the community together.
